That's not a typo in my title, it is Junuary here in the Seattle area. I think this is the 10th straight day of rain and grey skies. I know most of you are thinking ..........well you do live in Seattle, isn't the area known for rain? Well yes it is, but this is ridiculous! It's so ridiculous that last night it snowed in the passes. I don't really watch the local news, but I was channel sufing and stopped when I saw a local news anchor reporting from a snowing location. WOW!
My veggies are hanging on by a soggy root! We need the SUN! So to bring about the SUN I'm going to sing my special song.

We finally got some sun around here after almost a week straight of rain (my new yard is more like a swamp, thankyouverymuch). So hopefully your turn is next!
You can have some of our heat. For about a week it has been 100+ degrees. After a day or two it starts to make you feel sick.
I used to live in the NW and I sure don't miss those cloudy, rainy skies. I have terrible memories of my shoes being soaked before I even got on the school bus. My sister's family is still in that area and they are making plans to relocate to Florida in a few years. I hope your vegetables make it. Too much of anything isn't a good thing.
